Hi Team,
Anybody care to offer their 10c worth of advice on whether they think this battery bombed SE/30 can be restored - or is it a parts board?
I've never attempted anything like this before, but I'm thinking fixing/replacing the ICs, traces, and ROM socket are achievable.
But the vias... the vias Jim.
Last photo shows cleanup to date (gotta get that ROM socket off next).
I'm no Kai, James, Bruce, Steve, Joe, or Adrian et al but I know the correct end of a soldering iron to hold.
Thoughts and vote appreciated.
