Does anyone happen to have a working STAR Apple II clone that has the keyboard encoder chip C33106E DF-2100 on it? I have seen several of these fly by recently with non-working keyboard encoder chips and I would like to reverse engineer the chip.
I have an already working encoder project, (https://jcm-1.com/product/jcm-universal-keyboard-encoder/) and I suspect that it will work to replace said chip with minimal effort - probably only a matrix and pinout change.
If you have one of these systems and would not mind working with me to get it to me so I can document and reverse engineer it, I'll make it worth your while. Somehow? Beer? Money? Beer money?
