SE/30 UE8 replacement

I ordered a 296-33968-5-ND SN74LS166AD from Digi-key to replace my UE8 chip in my SE/30. When I look at the backorder status, it says March 2023!

Wow! Is there another chip that will work? Does anyone have one they want to sell?

I can confirm that this chip is too big: 296-SN74LS166ANSRCT-ND SN74LS166ANSR and just doesn't fit.

You know that you can buy directly from TI.com right? While Digikey has the excuse of being in Canada, Mouser is within spitting distance of TI in Dallas. Mouser often has backorder dates of years when TI has tons of stock.

Anyway, think this is the chip you need. You may need an account to view the page, which isn't difficult to setup. They don't have order minimums.
