Hi folks.

I got an SE/30 motherboard. I already had an SE case.

I'm planning on putting it together with a Pico-PSU (+ -5V adapter board), blue-SCSI and an LCD display.

I know the J12 connector on the motherboard receives power and outputs video signals.

Questions:

  1. Do anyone know of a simple diagram for the J12 stating where I should connect ground, +12, -12, +5 and -5?
  2. Which pins on the J12 output video signals?
  3. I heard it's possible to get color video signal out of the PDS slot. Does anyone have that information in more detail?

As always, thank you for any information!

edit.

I found it.

i looked but couldn't find it again.

but i recently watch* somebody was able to do basically what you are asking for. i remember he was able to eventually get the video to a LCD monitor.

So. thats to say. it has been done. (hack a SE logic board to not need an analog board...)
so i guess. at least you know its possible ?

sorry i'm not much help.

edit: I meant a youtube video or something.

It is indeed doable. A lot of ppl have used RGBtoHDMI to hook LCDs to compact macs.

I already saw ppl feeding power directly to the motherboard.

The color signals from the PDS slot I just heard of, never saw.

What I don’t have is an accurate pin out schematic.
