I've recently acquired a Sun branded monitor model LSA800. I only have a third party (new) power supply which has the correct voltage and pinout, but I can't get it to work. Whenever I plug it into a video adapter I know provides the supported resolutions and frequencies (on both the VGA and the 13W3 connector with various cables, I only get a blinking "B" light and a barely noticeable flickering power LED. All cables and ports have been cleaned with contact cleaner but still nothing.
Any ideas what this could be? An issue with the onboard power circuitry? Is this a repairable issue, or should I file this under "unfortunate loss" ? Thanks!
