The Allentown Haul

I call this the Allentown haul because a guy in Allentown PA had a whole bunch of stuff that he needed removed and would only allow the buyer to take everything. So I flew to Philadelphia, rented a truck, and picked it all up. The price for this pile of stuff was $200. This photo only shows half of the items, which got put into storage while I dealt with the rest. It was one of the better finds I've run across.

That Mac turned out to be a very early 128k, and it has been cleaned up and recapped, and now lives on my "keep" shelf.

Wow! What a great haul Adam! It's always so lovely to see the original boxes for these machines. It looks like all the plastics are in great shape too.

Does the scanner have an 8.5" X 11" surface or 8.5" X 14" surface? Some of the Umax scanners had the larger surface, which was nice. However, they used double sided tape to hold the glass to the underside of the casing, and the tape fails.

Looks like an IBM 300gl, Should be a basic Pentium 3 machine
scratch that, looking at the wrong machine here. Not sure what's in THAT machine. Likely a windows machines though, doesn't tickle my spidey sense.

I honestly haven’t even opened up that box yet.

It’s some kind of PC. The guy made me take everything, including the two windows boxes. I haven’t even tried to power them on - I’m still working through the Macs.

Looks to be an older Pentium MMX based generic PC. Case is familiar. Father had one in the late '90s-early 2000s. Enlight branded case. His had an ASUS board running a Pentium 233MMX chip. Wasn't an awful machine. Much better than what replaced it (a Compaq Presario 7478 - aka a Crapaq)... Said machine outlasted the Crapaq, which got replaced with a Dell Optiplex GX1 desktop from Boeing Surplus.
