I had two Mac TV's sent over to me recently. One had the audio jfet completely destroyed, so we replaced it. We found after this, the left audio was very broken. It worked occasionally but never reliably. Finally found a bad trace and restored audio!
Both boards had bad Sony sbx1637s, so we removed them and replaced with mono. Since it's only for RF, both customers understood.
Both boards were dead, we resurrected both and ultrasonic cleaned them. We just need to finalize recapping the analog boards And they'll be ready!
