Wow! Those boards look fabulous!

Did you have PCBWay or JLCPCB (whoever made them) solder all those tiny components on the bottom side of the boards so you won't need to deal with that?
JLCPCB...and yes, I had them populate the backsides.

Signs of life! The reloaded board actually booted on the first try:

At first I was only getting audio out of the headphone jack. After replacing the op-amp at UA9, I got a strong chime from the speaker. Now to populate the rest of the board and run some diagnostics...

Reloaded board completed and fully-operational...all Snooper tests passed! I already love this thing...

From battery-bomb victim to a new lease on life. But...what's better than an SE/30? An SE/40!

I guess it's a total Bolle-box now :) Also, I only had to pull the customs from one of the two bombed boards, so I'll attempt to build a second reloaded board and resurrect the other SE/30 from this lot. But, I've accomplished my original goal with this lot, so getting both SE/30's working would just be cake icing. I never could have done something like this a year ago. All of you who answer my dumb questions on Discord, create youtube content, and make the projects and products that help keep these machines going are amazing.
