It would definitely have issues yes, good news though this chip is on Macintosh Classic and iici logic boards. The good news is if you ask here for a battery bombed example of one of these boards you'll probably find it easily. The bad news is both machines are highly desirable so it could go both ways. I'll see what more machines have it.
