Who's coming down to Atlanta?
I'm hoping to get one more LC II refurbished in time for the show. I have the parts in hand (and actually had what I needed in a trunk I forgot I had). Life has been crazy lately, but I've got a nice workday afternoon tomorrow. We will have an Oregon Trail tournament again, so if you missed the one at East this year, we'll have another chance for you to participate in one (and there will be another one at Midwest in September). All your old favorites will return including the KoolTunes.
The Mimms Museum is running an Apple 50th exhibit nearby. I'm planning on getting into Atlanta first thing on Friday, setting up at 10 when the Galleria opens, then heading over there around 11:30-12:00. Apparently it's a 20 minute drive or so (although Atlanta traffic is tricky). The show doesn't open until 3, so that allows a good 2+ hours to browse there before getting back.
I also heard Dennis Hayes was announced as the speaker--you know him better as Mr. Modem! I'm excited for that lecture.
