Back in the day, SGI actually parodied their own hardware:

In hindsight, they were in many ways a strange company, especially in regards to their marketing and public relations tactics. But I think that's one of the things that made them so great though. - Should I ever found a corporate entity in the future, I hope it gets to be as strange as they were!
