Hi,
trying to learn more about my "new" 145B I found a guy on eBay selling this floppy that contains a tool named "PowerBook 145B Restore".
I couldn't find other references to this (I checked in the "Restoration CD SSW Disk 1" but I don't find such this thing).
Does anyone what is it and where it can be found?

I answer myself... it seems a backup/restore utility, and this is in particular the application to restore the backup (so it should exist also something like "PowerBook 145B Backup", maybe).

So my question is... where could be found the right disk images to install a 145B, containing all these specific tools?

OK. I found these utilities in the "Legacy Recovery CD"

It would be cool to find the Original floppy distribution that came with this model.

I don't really know... I'm just supposing this after seeing the copy that guy sells at eBay, but in the "Legacy Recovery CD" I couldn't find it. I found distributions for other PB models, but not that one.

For Sys 7 versions I see these folders
- 7.1-PB 16x, 18x 1.03)
- 7.1.1- PB 150
- 7.1.1-PB 500 Series 1.0
- 7.5.2-PB 5300/2300/190 1.2.1

The 145b came with a single boot/recovery disk that had the Recovery and Backup apps on it. Patrick is remembering correctly, the user was expected to make their own system disks from the pre-installed System 7.1 on the PowerBook. This was common with Apple's lower end systems.

OK. Thanks.
Then I understand that the required extensions or control panel items (if any) for such a PowerBook will be coming in some universal install, right?

Yes, a universal System 7.1 install should install any required extensions or control panels. From my research System 7.0.1 and up should work on the 145b, but it originally came with 7.1.
