Will the dos card for 6100 work in IIci?

Hi!

I recently bought a battery bombed 6100 that came with a dos card and the y-cable. The dos card was actually in really good shape and I have only replaced the thermal paste on the CPU. Now to my question, will this card also work in my IIci?

Ive read online that is supposed to work in the Quadras, but haven’t found anything on the IIci. The IIci has a Carrera 040 so it’s basically a 700.

In the long run I’ll put it back in the 6100, but would be nice to play around with it also in the IIci.

Nope - totally incompatible.

As Kai said, it's pretty much a 6100 item only. There were some PC cards that did work in Nubus 68K Macs, though. Might be worth hunting one of those down if you want to run DOS programs.

I am trying to find a DOS card for my IIci, too. Those OrangePC cards are hard to find.
