Last month I recently got a decent PowerBook 3400c (I don't know the specs of it yet)
When I plug it a known good charger it's making a small popping noise and yes I did remove the VARTA PRAM battery from it that didn't leak inside of it thankfully
So the popping noise would be related to bad...

I will have to send it to get it recapped since it's only making a popping noise and yes I did remove the PRAM battery out of it
I will also need to get a replacement front bezel for it since it's cracked
I need a replacement door with the handle to access to the insides of the system where the logic board is situated since it's cracked and damaged @greenmachine
