Having to buy a bunch of bad machines at a premium price is a bad deal no matter how you work it. Save your money, get to VCFMW in 2026 - and buy a NeXT machine there. You'll literally save thousands.

That pile isn't worth $5,000... let alone $50,000. Anything that hasn't been restored already is worth the amount an eWaste place would charge to haul it off.

1) The smaller board is smaller because small. Seriously though, the J8 connector is closer on the Plus than on the 128/512... so it just allows for slightly different cable management. This part is now discontinued because.... 2) The J8 on a 128/512 board is further away from the mount point...

For the record, the part you list here is seemingly the exact same part I listed above... and it's $1.20 cheaper per unit on Mouser. So if you're buying in quantity, that might be a consideration. https://www.mouser.com/c/?q=0026604110
