I got everything to install perfectly on s 16 gb usb drive using Mojave, the Apple TV didn't register a 128gb, I installed it correctly and ran the correct terminal commands to make it bootable but when I plug it into Apple TV gen 1 and plug it in the white apple screen with logo appears but then just gets stuck on spinning loading on bottom of screen and does nothing, I even restarted tv using remote menu and down button but same thing, I plugged the usb directly into Apple TV as I don't have a hub I just wanted to see the osx start up screen but it doesn't go past the loading white screen, also I used 10.5.8 v2 when I restore with 10.5.8 image it just keeps restarting on Apple TV logo and does nothing any help here please.

trust me I did I've tried it several times on different Mac OS and Mojave gives me the best outcomes it always works, when I tried on Monterey it said failed but it still worked tho, the drive gets all set up correctly I run the correct terminal commands change the size and start for index 2 even verify that it changes by running the first command again but when I plug the drive into the USB port it boots up to the white Mac logo screen with the spinning booting at the bottom but it just stays there it never boots into the actual setup menu for osx do I need to have a usb hub for it to work it should still boot up into it without the hub I just want to see it. the first usb drive I used was 128 gb and the Apple TV gen 1 didn't even recognize there was a usb attached and just went straight to Apple TV interface, but the 16 gb drive gets to the white Mac logo screen but it just won't get past that I don't know what to do my Apple TV is on version 3 I then restored it back to version 1 but still same thing why won't it get past the buffering spinning thing. I Make sure to download the image torrent version 2 of 10.5.8 then I scan it then I restore image on the mounted disk that I named Apple TV and not on the actual usb drive itself but still nothing so what am I doing wrong I've made sure to follow the directions exactly.

Is your USB drive illuminated (does it have an activity LED)? If not, it is hard to tell if anything is progressing or not. Some thing to note is the requirement of a USB hub. If you look at OCLP on certain macs, a USB hub is required to install/update. It could be possible that the installation is trying to locate a keyboard and mouse.
