FileMaker Pro IWP (database publishing on the web)

I was thinking that myself. Maybe even a database plug-in added to WordPress could do the trick.

Documentation for DB15 to VGA adapters

For anyone looking for a DB15 to VGA adapter in Australia, you may end up with one of these, designed and sold by eBay seller "Retro ShopBox". I've attached the supplied documentation. This one does not do sync on green for the really early Macs. However, if you're like me, you can't actually...

    Snooper serial loopback plug

So the little tester was actually doing its job with the failed test. Excellent!

BlueSCSI - Open, Low Cost, DIY SCSI to SD device

This is the STL for the DB25 case I made. The only issue is that I made it to fit exactly with the DB25 connector I use, which is probably different to the ones being supplied by other BlueSCSI sellers. You may need to tweak things to make them fit.

Macintosh II & IIx replacement battery holders

I'v come up with a solution for the Mac II battery holder issue for those with a 3D printer. I've made a double holder with the correct lead spacings to line up with the axial battery pins. Just buy a regular battery holder and use the metal pieces in the 3D printed holder. Just use the metal...

    Snooper serial loopback plug

Hi Craig, yes it's the same for both ports. I've only tested it on a couple of computers, but it worked for both ports on both computers.

SE/30 gray screen with cursor post recap when SCSI drive attached

Have you swapped out the SCSI chip? If not, I'd be trying that next.

BlueSCSI - Open, Low Cost, DIY SCSI to SD device

I suspect that the only option for the Q650 (and IIvi/IIvx) is to use one of these gender changer/extender thingies. The port is so ridiculously close to that bottom lip of the case.

    2022 PowerPC Challenge!

There's probably a separate audio channel in there (Window > Show Movie Properties) that's being ignored by YT. Exporting it from Quicktime in another format would probably fix that.

I'll see what I can do @Kai Robinson.

SE/30 gray screen with cursor post recap when SCSI drive attached

Just to confirm, if you attach a SCSI device but still attempt to boot from a floppy, you get the grey screen, is that correct? So just the existence of a SCSI device on the bus stops it from booting?

Mac Plus with BlueSCSI DB25 SCSI Hard Drive Emulator

I've done the same on my Mac Plus and it works a treat! I used a 1N4007 diode (because that's what I had at hand) and it works.

    Snooper serial loopback plug

I don't suppose you could post some nice, clear hi res pics of both sides of the NuBus card please? I'd love to reverse engineer it.

    Snooper serial loopback plug

I've figured it out (and made a pretty diagram). I've tested this in Snooper and it passes the handshake and data tests successfully. I hope it's of help to others.

    Snooper serial loopback plug

Hi all, The Snooper software (originally made by Maxa, then later by Central Point Software) used to include a NuBus diagnostic card as well as a small, black, serial loopback plug for testing the serial ports. I'm not too fussed about the card, but does anyone have one of these loopback...

    Multimeter recommendations: auto-ranging?

Your budget will play a big part in making a suitable recommendation. If you're after a cheap unit, here's my review on the Kaiweets KM601:

    How do you pronounce “LIDO?”

It's Bon-die. I promise you that if you come to Sydney and ask for directions to Bon-dee, you will get laughed at.

    Compact Mac Caps List

@Elemenoh I used to use sizes C and D, but have recently started using size B instead of C. Slightly easier to solder. I still use size D for the bigger ones though. I haven't updated the guides yet.
