I got a little further into the boot sequence and the cursor was actually on the screen, but I couldn't move it and it would hang during startup. I replaced the ADB chip and that fixed it.

@Kai Robinson, no I was still able to see the cursor, I just couldn't move it.

@Kai Robinson, any ideas? It looks like he's getting the initial grey screen, but not advancing to the cursor.

If you look at it just the right way, the pattern is like one of those magic eye images!

Some SE/30s have self-healing fuses, others don't. If the board has the flat, metal, rectangular type of fuses, they are self-healing, so if that's the case, it's probably not the fuse.

As mentioned by others, the 800K and FDHD auto inject drives are very similar. Are you perhaps referring to the manual inject drive? The one with the black flap at the front?
