    Macintosh connector part numbers

I'm happy to place an order for them as I did with the Tyco 64-pin SIMM sockets? @torbar might be willing to be an intermediary again!

Fitting a Magneto Optical drive into a Power Macintosh G4

Yes, i damn well need those - trying to get the firmware flashed on my G4 with Leopard is a pain - without repartitioning and reformatting everything...!

    SE/30 Reloaded - Complete!

Luckily, the ADB chip that was removed, can be sourced from UTSource! They *are* about $12-14 each though, but they're new old stock. I'd definitely recommend investing in a hot air station - a Yihua one can be purchased for less than $100 off Amazon, I use one, they're not bad as starter gear :)

Fitting a Magneto Optical drive into a Power Macintosh G4

While you may know that Power Macintosh G3 & G4 machines came with ZIP drives installed (as a CTO option), you can use any other ATAPI 3.5" device in that bay - it doesn't have to be a ZIP drive. In this instance, i'm going to install a Fujitsu MCE3130AP 1.3GB ATAPI Magneto Optical drive in it...

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

Okay - these yellow things at the back of the board, are the R/C Networks. Test the pins opposite each other, from top to bottom - ignoring the corner pins. You can see where the traces run to the serial ports, check you have continuity ACROSS the R/C network and also check if the pin at the...

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

well other than the corner pins, everything is a straight through connection from one side to the other - you should get continuity across the network.

    Hot Sauce fiends?

I gotta say, i love hot sauce, but for very specific things. Eggs, for example, Chicken - but not much else. My favourite all rounder is probably LIDL's Peri Peri sauce, but an all time favourite for almost everything is Cholula. We do get an abundance of hot sauces here, but that seems to...

    Confit Garlic

After 2 hours, I turned the oven off and let it slowly cool down overnight. I woke up this morning and took it out of the oven, removed the foil, and was greeted by this: *drooling intensifies* 🤤 The smell is incredible, and I'll shortly be separating the oil off and making a paste with...

    Confit Garlic

If you like Garlic, seriously, try this. I've seen lots of recipes lately that use a whole bulb of garlic, where you slice the top off, add a little olive oil and salt, wrap in foil and roast it in the oven. You get an amazing flavour, quite quickly. However, the garlic can start to caramelise...
