    A takky Mac…..

No fear! That's fabulous, an autoscaling controller/panel combo for the Compact form factor is great news!

    A takky Mac…..

That'd be fabulous, but not very likely. If it's scaling 640x480 VGA, it'll likely scale 800x600 SVGA to 1024x768 XGA as well. Running that quarter panel slide show I suggested in GraphicConverter will tell the tale if you set images up for both resolutions.

Cool, but what do they represent according to the manual? Running off to work, so: https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/video-adapter-docs-scan-dump.24012/

    A takky Mac…..

You said the VGA Adapter setting was 1024/768, but were going to check that out. ;) There's almost always one switch setting that covers both 640x480 and 1024x768 @60Hz. There is usually one setting that covers anything thrown at it onto a MultiFreq Display. edit: can't imagine any other case...

    A takky Mac…..

Caffeine deprived WAG would be is that the panel's controller is scaling 640x480 VGA to fill the LCD's 1024x768 XGA field. If you had the adapter on the 630 it's more than likely set to handle VGA/SVGA at a minimum and VGA would be what you're seeing from the LCIII? Quick test would be to...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

I think you need a bigger boat . . .🦈 https://everymac.com/monitors/apple/multiple_scan/specs/multiple_scan_15.html Multi Scan is not MultiSync AFAIK. Sounds like it's doing its best, but not very close given available pre-sets on that list. Something like a Dell UltraSync(?) LCD should be...

    A takky Mac…..

How'd that work running off an LCIII? The 630 tops out at 800 x 600 SVGA, 832 x 624 16" Mac in 8-bit and the LCIII lacks SVGA? edit: no board in that form factor supported 1024x768 until the 6360/6400 generation. Does that LCD support 640x480 VGA?

The Macintosh Minus - pi-powered mini Mac Plus clone with 5" CRT display

Loving it! That last CAD profile pic has me wondering if the limiting factor is not the CRT, but the Monitor's board? Don't wanna push too hard on the BackPaq notion, but it seems perfect to wrench your design into perfect or near perfect profile of the Mac Bucket using the extra cubic available...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

Sounds like a plan. I'm wondering if a specific Radius Cable for running the Portrait was required? Lots of crazy cable models listed for different combinations in that Q$A Looking at the board you might find Radius using a sense line spell to weave multiple sync output magic for Radius vs...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

ISTR someone explaining that "shimmer" in the Portrait has something to do with having a pair of CRTs on the same AC feed mucking somethingorother up? Dunno, when I put a sheet of galvanized steel between Radius TPD and Portrait sitting next to each other. I'd figured the problem was RFI and it...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

I figured yours for the 75Hz version given that connector. No Apple of Radius Displays or VidCards that I know of used HD15/VGA Connector in that era. Thanks for the links, @mg.man If you have a multisync LCD, hook a Mac VGA adapter up to that backplane connector and have at it. I got the TPD...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

If I had to bet a nickel on it, I'd say that's a standard DA15 Macintosh port for a cord with 13w3 at the other end for hooking it up to the Portrait Display as well as one Radius FPD or other.

    A takky Mac…..

Confused, if you're talking about the TV tuner box, just leave that out unless you still have Analog Broadcast TV. 🙃 If you're talking about the front panel control box, that can be mounted anywhere under the LCD so it's next to the HDD Activity LED. Desolder the IR receiver, bodge wire and...

    Radius Full Page Display connector

Bookmarked links are timing out for me, but there's an extensive Q&A on FPD models and compatibility to check out. radius.vintagebox.de/RadiusQA/SupportQA.html http://radius.vintagebox.de/RadiusQA/FPD64_68.html There are multiple backups online, does anyone have a working link?

    A takky Mac…..

Ayup! In the original case, a board like that should have the Video/Sound Card and VGA adapter housed in the TV-Tuner Bay so it can be easily pulled out the back for adjustment. ;) @-SE40- I see you've sourced and installed the Video package, got a pic of that setup or full width view from...

SuperMac VidCards - Timeline Development - Links

Curious Cards indeed. What the heck is up with the form factor of SimplyTV? Is that thing really supposed to fit in the pizza box LC-Q605 case or was it developed specifically for the LC520 and up? I've never seen a SuperMac product (other than the ROM deficient VideoSpigot LC) so wildly out of...

SuperMac VidCards - Timeline Development - Links

Yep, says that, but SuperMac also sold the VideoSpigot LC, though it may have been developed elsewhere? But you're missing my point. The LC/Q605 form factor's PDS spec allows for no components topside (solder side) of the PCB. I've never before seen an LC PDS card in violation of that spec...

SuperMac VidCards - Timeline Development - Links

I'm surprised it'll fit into the LC/605 form factors mentioned with that socketed FPU(?) and ROM on the solder side/top side of the board. I've never seen that before, don't think the lids would close. Seems like a run-of-the-mill presentation card with a CoPro Socket for the 5x0 FuglyMacs and...
