And of course, knowing if the 30Video series cards need a 180Ω pull-up resistor mod like the Booster 2.0 does, in order to use the card in the top slot of Synchr030, would be good info too.

The reason I tagged @zigzagjoe is (1) he created the 30Video clone and (2) he has a Synchr030/S. Of course, there could be other people who have both cards, but I'm not sure who they are. People with both cards are of course the people we need to hear from.

Again, it's the clock speed, more than anything else. If you could boost that G3's clock higher, you'd see the benefits. I've got a PowerMac 9600 at the office, which originally had a stock 300MHz 603e card in it (still have that card, actually). It was later upgraded to a 400MHz G4 (7400)...

According to what I am seeing on Macintosh Garden here, early versions of QT work under System 6.0.7. Have you tried installing QuickTime and also 32-bit QuickDraw to a System 6.0.7 System Folder? For example, in my S6.0.8 System Folder, that icon looks like this:

So you have not tested any version of QT other than v1.6, correct?
