    BlueSCSI Issues - Bus Error

I cannot see anything bad from those photos. I would assume that @Drake tested it since he build it, but to what extent he tested it prior to shipping to you should be discussed with him. Clearly, you are having some serious problems and you have also done some serious testing to determine...

    BlueSCSI Issues - Bus Error

There is an easy solution, but it will take time, cost money, and you would need to cooperate with @Drake to do it -- send it to Drake so he can perform his own testing, and if he finds issues on some of his own Macs which are different from yours and which he knows that BlueSCSI works fine...

MacSD - Multi-device SCSI adapter with audio

My new video below is dedicated with humble appreciation to @YMK for having kindly and patiently taught me the better way to heatsink a hot 68040 processor, as described earlier in this thread. If any of you want to better cool a hot 68040 CPU, especially when overclocking, this video is for...

    BlueSCSI Issues - Bus Error

@rjkucia I quickly skimmed through the older thread you linked for us, and the resounding theme I spotted was LIDO. I suggest trying another formatter to see if that helps, such as the patched Apple HD Setup 7.3.5. Not sure if Disk Jockey will be a help to you, but you should check that out...

    68882 PLCC to PGA adapter?

If anyone among us has such an adapter it would be Kai "TheAdapterMan" Robinson! :-) I say that because he made some adapters for his SE Reloaded project, so who knows what else he might have hidden over there in the UK. @Kai Robinson

@Kay K.M.Mods The progression from that horrible rusted hole to a perfect looking chassis is amazing! Beautiful work!

    Mac Plus.. ticking analog board

I think only the flyback could be in question. I've honestly never seen any report in all these years about the main transformer going bad. I wouldn't worry about it at this time.

TashIO: Clone of BeeHive Technologies's ADB I/O

Yes, and I see it's as expensive as ever. That's why the Macintosh Garden version is a much better deal, if you don't need the manuals. :-)

TashIO: Clone of BeeHive Technologies's ADB I/O

Would be great if it was compatible with LabView software. https://books.google.fr/books?id=szsEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PT64&dq=labview+macintosh&hl=fr&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiOi_flx8HYAhWFZlAKHb0wAHoQ6AEIWzAG#v=onepage&q=labview%20macintosh&f=false Labview primarily controls National Instruments hardware, but...

    Mac Plus.. ticking analog board

Yes, flybacks from an SE or SE/30 are compatible with the analog boards for the Macintosh Plus and below. Here’s a photo of the flyback in one of my Mac Plus analog boards used in a Mac512… So long as you bought two pieces of that BU406 transistor, I would suggest you go the easy route and...

    Mac Plus.. ticking analog board

@Michelangelo Nice find! The BU406 is right between T1 & T2, so I suspect it was either a voltage spike or a bad T1 or T2 which brought down the 406.

    “Latest activity” view without reactions?

I use either a MBP or iMac exclusively to post and check posts here on TD. I only resort to mobile in a serious pinch because I still have an iPhone 7 which has a screen that is a bit too tiny for my eyes. Eliminating the reaction notifications does have an upside. It's a bit spooky to have...

    PowerBook G3 VCore Adjustment (?)

So basically you swapped the CPU on your card in the PowerBook Wallstreet, not because the CPU was bad, but because you were hoping for better performance, even at the same clock speed, but you found that you needed to adjust the voltage going to the new CPU in order for it to become stable...

    PowerBook G3 VCore Adjustment (?)

I too have a Wallstreet but never tried to overclock it, so I cannot provide help about voltage adjustments. But you only need to adjust voltages when overclocking, and how are you going about that?

Thanks for the link! It's a bit out of the way, and I would either need to pay for parking or take the train to get there, but it's nice to know of that place should I ever been in the area. More recently, I found that Meat Express does a great job, mainly because they have Mexicans on staff...

The reason I mentioned being hungry for tacos is because I live in Japan, which is a country where Mexican food is rather scarce. Compounding the problem is the fact I grew up in California, where 39% of the population is hispanic, and where a Mexican food place can be spotted around every corner.

    “Latest activity” view without reactions?

Thanks for replying. @Crutch asked for 2 things... If you and the rest of the board are unsure if making those 2 changes good thing, maybe poll forum members to determine if others feel the same, then decide whether to make changes or not?

NEED HELP: Joystick Shield + Mach III + Virtual ][ emulator + M1 Mac

Well, I have a big enough headache right now with just the one joystick, at least when it comes to getting Joystick Shield to JustWork™ with my Mach III's internal capacitors. And while I could drill holes in my joystick to accommodate a mechanical switch to enable/disable the caps, it's far...

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me what "forbidden salsa" means. About the only thing that did for me was make me hungry for a taco. 🌮

NEED HELP: Joystick Shield + Mach III + Virtual ][ emulator + M1 Mac

Great idea, although beyond my capabilities. I do appreciate that link though. Interesting to see Karateka can accommodate two players now, although both are stuck with the keyboard.
