For any of the 100nf axials - ANY should do - i bought from eBay before and had 0 issues. For the electrolytic axials...these ARE admittedly getting harder to find as only really CDE make them.

Well i was using Tom Barber as an intermediary for purchasing the connectors in bulk, and @max1zzz has used PE-Connectors stuff before as well - they're made by them, as far as i can tell - good quality - but perhaps someone like @Branchus and @MacEffects might consider reselling stuff from them...

I do love seeing people build these boards up - i get the warm fuzzies from seeing machines being saved that would have been trashed! The boards really do look good in red, too.

I bought the exact same PSU as this to do to the spare IIci PSU you gave me the last time i was down your way - just haven't got round to it yet. Did you use standard PC Motherboard brass standoffs to affix the seasonic PCB to the case?

Just to clarify - the SWIM chip is not a ROM or a PLD type device, it's a custom ASIC - not programmed in any way - it just works. Just needs to be soldered to the adapter PCB to be used. The ROM's of course would need to be burned and soldered to the adapters to get the FDHD ROM's working with...

@YMK any thoughts on the way the MacSD is behaving?

In a way i'm glad that the wierdness isn't solely occurring on the SE Reloaded board, but the stock SE board as well. I was worried there was something wrong with the board revision that i'd need to change. Have you tried with a DIP28 SWIM /SWIM adapter i sent you and the more modern FDHD ROM set?

I had a thought - the SCSI chip in your board, what brand is it? All original machines were the NCR 53C80, I'm wondering if there was errata specific to that chip that was not present with ones from Logic or AMD - nothing that would stop SCSI from actually working, as you've seen but something...

Electronically, yes, possible - would be interesting to see the internals of the non STFM model you have :)

A little bit of column A, a little of column B - the work is repotting things like monstera's and syngoniums. Thankfully there's a photo of the garden as it looked in 2019, that i found here (also handy if you want to ogle the property as it was in 2019, too!)...

Does macbench run the tests on the disk correctly? Does FWB hard disk toolkit work? I'm guessing that the SCSI DMA fakery that's going on with the SE might be at fault... Unless someone can test if it's just an issue with the working SE board and not just the Reloaded.

Do scsi devices behave correctly, as in using a bluescsi?
