    The Mega Shed

So, we're moving from a room in 2nd floor apartment, to a our own ground floor apartment with 2 bedrooms and a garden. Now, the Mrs wants to be able to have a garden space to herself and I have just the idea. In the garden is a concrete base suitable for a garden shed. This will not just be any...

    VCF Midwest September, 10-11 2022

Always jealous of these VCF events that exist there - I don't know of anything like that here in the UK that's as wide ranging, it's usually a single user group like amiga/atari or the like, and small in scope, like the village hall.

Logic Board - Macintosh SE Reloaded

As mentioned in our 1:1 chat, it doesn't sound abnormal - compare with the video of the initial headless startup of the board, here:

Macintosh II Rev.A - Reversing the Discrete IC Implemented Origins of NuBus

I'd love to be able to recreate the functionality of these chips in CPLD/FPGA form - so you could use them as replacements in Reloaded boards, or repairs. I'm envisioning something like this: https://www.tindie.com/products/furrtek/neo-d0-replacement/ in terms of footprint, although you could...

    Ultimate Bolognese Sauce

I know, I know, them's is fighting words! But, i stand by this method. Pics coming soon, will edit the thread when I have some. Ingredients: Knorr Beef Stock Pot x 2 500g Minced Beef - 10 or 12% fat - just not 20, or 5 - that's too fatty/lean respectively. One large red onion (for a sweeter...

    SE/30 Reloaded

I'll be making a run of boards in August/September for the SE, SE/30 and Classic Reloaded - however, i've just been made redundant so finances are a little tight until my severance pay comes in!

Macintosh II Rev.A - Reversing the Discrete IC Implemented Origins of NuBus

OK well, from a quick glance so far - Apple P/N 343S1027 is identical in pinout and function to the Ti SN74BCT2420 - Nubus Bus Transceiver, available at UTSource: https://www.utsource.net/itm/p/1008026.html The NuChip30, however? Made by Pinnacle Micro in Irvine, CA, by the looks of it. I...

What to do with a corroded, but working, Amiga 4000 motherboard?

That trace damage looks pretty grotty but it depends on the copper hiding underneath the rotten mask - @Branchus and @Mac84 might be able to assist with this.

Macintosh II Rev.A - Reversing the Discrete IC Implemented Origins of NuBus

You could use the pinouts referenced in the BOMARC schematics to see if they line up with the pinouts of the TI offerings. If the pins are merely re-arranged, you could build an interposer of some description, like the castellated PLCC replacements they use on NeoGeo & JAMMA boards.
