I think @zefrenchtoon on 68kmla was working with @OneGeekArmy to make it compatible using DiskJockey. I have no idea where the status of this currently lies maybe one of them can answer?

Check the cable that connects to the logic board there is a small cap or resistor (forget which) in the cable this can fail quite commonly.
