It worked for me on my G5, although only under leopard WebKit and I couldn’t send any messages as I wasn’t signed in. InterWeb threw a not supported error from YouTube’s end and I didn’t try ArcticFox.

Threw me with a “Could not modify partition map (-9986) on disk disk1s3 Sorbet Leopard R15”

Basically, I setup a sorbet partition on my G5, restored to it. It should be 250GB in size, but instead: - Disk utility reports 250GB capacity, 8.6GB used, and 661MB Free - Finder reports 9.21GB capacity and 661MB available. Any idea what’s up? Sorbet does boot on the partition, but I’m booted...

Watching too right now, but only from a boring modern smartphone I’m afraid. I need to get that setup on my G5!

Made it most of the way but now I’m stuck and wary of damaging anything, particularly the orange ribbon around the battery contacts.

Finally, Mac-Man. Got it running under vMac, and I have to say it isn't much fun. I normally quite enjoy pac-man style games, but in this one, the enemies are always way faster than you, and they nearly always directly chase you, which makes it extremely infuriating and difficult to play. It...

Ah, I was talking about the MacPaint method. I’m aware of the RGB HDMI device and it seems to be pretty neat, but I don’t have a real good use right now.

How do you get the direct screenshots of the gameplay?

Looks like emulation is the only way this time, which kind of stinks as the whole reason I enjoy these old games is because they're running on period hardware. I got my 170 booting 6.0.8 but the game just locks up the system when trying to launch.

In other news, I just tried launching it on my 3400c (Mac OS 8.5) and the results were hilarious but expected. Interestingly enough it passed that initial error, then threw a type 1 when I tried to start a game.

Currently trying to get System 6 running on the 170, should be possible, there's a modified disk image that boots it on there.

MacMan won't launch for me, gives the following error: "MacMan will not operate with the RAM Cache on. Please turn it off with the Control Panel and try again" Not sure what the RAM cache specifically is, nor can I find a reference to it in the memory control panel. Tried with my PowerBook 145...
