I think most automobile antifreeze is usually mix 1:1. Unless you purchase the specific no-mix version. I don't think the antifreeze is so much to prevent freezing of the coolant, but to raise the boiling temperature. Although, when it is working, it should never get to boiling temps anyway...

Old drives laying in a box should be fine, as long as they are not TOO old, meaning do they have jumpers for sector size and heads? I don't think anything PPC was designed to boot off of USB, regardless if it was optical. But I may be wrong.

It is not impossible to bend the pins in the socket. Remove the card and have a look to see if any pins are bent. It could be a faulty card? Do you have any other machines (or base stations) that have a similar card?

Check the wifi card to see if one is actually installed (or reseat it if one is installed). The OS should see it automatically. What version of OS are you running right now? So it doesn't see the airport card, or can't connect to your current wifi? Some notes:
