Yes! A number of creative and smart individuals are doing just this. Check out this thread where Kai talks about his project on recreating the Macintosh SE board. I also believe a Classic, SE/30, LC, and other boards are in the works by similarly bright individuals.

I totally forgot to report back in... 😅 I ended up ordering the ATTEN ST-862D, I found it on eBay for $191 shipped. I've been using it since the middle of November and I totally love it. It gives me a lot of power when I need it, and has made a lot of things much easier. It also gets hotter...

Haha! Well after it died again… I did get it working! A small trace by a resistor pack was not connecting to a via. I fixed that and I got the rounded corners and a cursor! It still is acting a bit odd and will freeze, but I’m making progress! 😁

Awesome! :) This past summer I saw Techmoan do a video about those printers and picked one up. I set up a photo booth at VCF East this past October, and it was a huge hit! I'll have to do it again this year. As you noted, the printed images are surprisingly sharp. (y)

You may have checked already, but has the fuse blown? In the thread you linked to someone mentioned some models have a fuse in one of the legs.

Interesting. Do you have any other SCSI devices to try? Did the driver you install specifically support Leopard? Do you have another adapter for the LS-2000 to try? I assume you've checked all the SCSI voodoo regarding termination, etc.
