    A takky Mac…..

...and... I do have a 3D printer, so it'd be interesting to see if your 'chassis' could be modelled up so that it could be printed - perhaps in sections / individual panels?

    A takky Mac…..

Oh, I don't plan on e-wasting them... but I don't have the energy (or proper equipment) to do a re-loaded 'board build. I would be up for doing something like this in one though!

    A takky Mac…..

Off Topic 🤣 ...anyway, I found one on AMZ UK, so apols for the distraction & @Trash80toG4, no need to reply. 😀 Back "on" topic... I think I have 3 complete SE/30 cases + "guts" from badly battery-bombed but good cosmeticly purchases. I also have a Performa 630 (as well as a very mustard...

OT (sorry) - do you have a link? AMZ or elsewhere?

Need testers: “GR8RAM” 8+ MB Slinky/RamFactor RAM card for Apple II series

Very cool *and* professional! I'm still happy to test one in my "]["s, I have a //e, and 2 x IIgs' (one a ROM3 the other a ROM1 (I think)). I also have a couple of @skate323k137's TJBoldt cards in addition to my FloppyEMUs, so can check for any issues with those. Happy to cover shipping too if...

Need testers: “GR8RAM” 8+ MB Slinky/RamFactor RAM card for Apple II series

Oh wow... SO sorry here - I never saw this. (my excuse - my company was acquired on 11th Jan, so this was a pretty turbulent time!). It looks like you're now close to shipping, so best of luck with these!!

    BluesSCSI hda files corruption

No, not really... it was a genuine (and genuinely frustrating!!) situation : ...and before anyone asks, yes, this was a "kit" I built, *but* it came with the uSD holder pre-soldered. Never had an issue like this before, and will be speaking with the guy I bought the kit off - I doubt he's...

    BluesSCSI hda files corruption

OK, thanks for that. I don't have exhaustive experience with BlueSCSIs, but have used several over the last couple years. I (well, someone I built one for) did have a super weird situation with one recently. We tore our hair out over several days only to discover that the uSD holder was...

    BluesSCSI hda files corruption

That IS why I said "exactly 2Gb". I can't find where I read it ATM. It was just a suggestion of something to try.

    BluesSCSI hda files corruption

Just a thought... Weren't there some issues in old System (7.x?) versions with exactly 2Gb partitions? Might be worth trying a slightly smaller or even 1Gb one.

Found a Neat Mod From Back in The Day in My 128k

I'm not sure it was just that... but also an acute shortage of DRAM chips. For example, I have a genuine Apple replacement (box, docs and all!) IIgs motherboard that came with the attached advisory. There's no date, but it does make you wonder what might have been gobbling up the DRAM...

Found a Neat Mod From Back in The Day in My 128k

No expert here, but I'm pretty sure ROM and maybe I/O (?) is mapped into the 16Mb space. I've read somewhere that this is why the compacts up to the SE were limited to 4Mb max.

Found a Neat Mod From Back in The Day in My 128k

Apols for being late to this thread, but I too had a surprise a while back when I picked up what was supposed to be an 'original' 128k... What I discovered when I opened it up was the following... Yep... that's an original 128k 'board, but "fattened" out to a full 2Mb!! And... it still...

    PDS DOS Compatibility Card Extender

I don't have mine yet, waiting for it to be mailed / delivered. Should have it next week. Cool, thanks! Postage may be interesting, I'm in the UK. That said, the card on its own should fit in am envelope, so I hope it'd be like sending a "birthday" card overseas... (he says in hope). Let me...

    PDS DOS Compatibility Card Extender

Very pretty - I do love Purple 'boards. It looks like you just extended the video to DB15 - do you use a two monitor setup? I do have the Houdini cable, so I might be better off going for a full extension? That said, your extender would only need one of those 26 pin DB connectors...

    PDS DOS Compatibility Card Extender

Cool! Would you be willing to sell one?

    PDS DOS Compatibility Card Extender

Did you ever get around to doing that? @alxlab did you have any 'boards made up? About to get one or these cards, and want to put it in my Q700vi.
