Think the cheapest fx I paid for was the one I bought in 2014 from RE-PC for $50, plus tax. Mainly bought it for the case, so I could retire the regular Mac II case I was using for the fx board I owned at the time.

I haven't tried this with mine, but try turning on 1,4,6, and 7 on your adapter. Possibly that it might work fine. One of the members at the 68kMLA forums did that while trying to diagnose non-working video on his IIci. Started working perfectly.

Just received an LCIII from @AppaloosaMac over at the 68kMLA forums. Everything seems good on it, except, of course, for the floppy drive, which needs some servicing done as per usual. 36MB of RAM, 40MB Conner hard drive, with System 7.5 installed.

Tested the board. Nubus circuitry is good. So, just need to do a recap, and I should be good to go.

Does anything change if you move the analog board to logic board harness at all? My SE was showing the weird artifacts before I changed out the harness for a different one. It didn't show the jailbar pattern, which, according to the Repair Mac site for the SE/30, says is RAM related...

Not bad. The floppy drive issue might be the zero track sensor being out of alignment, if you haven't checked it yet.

I used the similar CPD-1304S with a few of my machines in the late '90s - early 2000s. Decent monitor. Basically a multisync version of the M1212 Apple Macintosh Color Display that can be used without the tilt/swivel stand. My old 1304S, next to a PowerMac 8500/120.
