The 65c22n in the correct socket should be OK as it was a new one.

I put the correct chip in place of the wrong one and I too was concerned as to what else may have been damaged. I replaced the Ram with tested ram even though it was OK. Replaced the BBU as it was causing boot errors in test board. Checked board for solder bridges. So I now have a new 65c22 in...
