Display graphic FULL SCREEN on Mac SE?

Step 1 of proof: Create a 512x342 test PICT in SuperPaint 2.0F in System 7.5.3 on Basilisk II for PC, so my small program can load it up (PICTs can come from wherever) Step 2 of proof: Save as PICT Step 3 of proof: Launch my program and open the PICT Step 4 of Proof: Run under...

Display graphic FULL SCREEN on Mac SE?

I'll reread the thread and pay attention to the solutions that were offered but I just wanted to quickly poke the thread and say that the full screen 512x342 full screen, graphic display with no menu bar is a problem I've solved with my own C tinkering 16 years ago. I even re-used my code in a...

    Cubase v2.5 compositions - SE/30, Roland SC-88ST, RB3 Keytar

My setup is finally functional and I've been having a blast making tunes on it this week. Check them out! Cheesy Loops 01 (a practice in the interface, really. Warning, it's very cheesy): https://1bitfeverdreams.bandcamp.com/track/cheese-loop-01 Ominous Space Battle...

I have no childhood memories of using them or having family or friends having them. Only the C64, compact Macs and 90's early macs and PCs from 91+ to current day.

    Mu0n's Color Classic thread

Since July 4th: I achieve solid control of the soft power mechanism. I soldered a wire between 2 ground loops underneath the logic board like so: As you can see in the picture, there are 4 of these "rings" total on this LC550 logic board. I soldered a wire to bring them all galvanically...

Things I've tried in the past 2 weeks: -Mess with PP1 and PP7 (I know I shouldn't have!) to bring them back closer to their original orientation based on photos I took early on. PP1 is left a smidge under 5.00 V. -Test the continuity between ground loop-ring things underneath the logic board...

[Very fluid] Classic Amiga demo Remade for b&w Macintosh (Vanlandingham)

We can't really judge that. The Amiga footage is based on my capture of the WinUAE emulator and its exact speed is dependent on cpu sliders in the options. The Mac version had no sound. Which makes sense, because the freeform wave synth of the Mac plus takes a sizeable chunk of cpu usage %

I'm wondering if this is a possibility if I get desperate, can a LCIII's chip be used as a swap in for the LC550's? It's the closest mac I have to it in terms of technology and it's in pretty bad battery bombed recovery shape as it is anyway

Ok, I used this pinout (ADB socket on the back of the logic board) soldered wires directly on the Apple CUDA 341S0788. pin14 = GND (could have used so many other points but whatever) pin25 = PS_ON pin. Continuity to either of those went correctly on the socket at the back. NEW BEHAVIOR...

Further work done: -Recap the rest of WHOLE DANG analog board (ie 100% of the console5 kit) no change -Clean the CUDA chip (responsible for ADB and soft power) no change Dismount the analog board, the main computer cage and metal shield to see if some piece of the snap in the case was...

    Mu0n's Color Classic thread

I seemed to have made some partial progress. I cleaned the CUDA chip some more with alcohol (lc550 board, it's not the egret chip since I don't have a stock CC1 MB). I heard death chimes for the first time in a loooong while! I experimented with board insertion at slightly different angles...

So I was able to spend some time today on the analog board: Replaced DL21 and DL22 with these: 1300mW, 5%, Small Signal Zener Diode Replaced both optocouplers CNY75GB with these CNY75B Noticed the sad state of the pins for the edge connector: so I solder wicked all of that out...

    Mu0n's Color Classic thread

I'm going back to inspecting the analog board. Here are the edge connectors on the AB side, the large ones seem fine: The small ones are looking like this mostly (80% of them): The end near towards the transformers are a little bent towards the bottom and one pin is slightly crusty: Is...

Help diagnosing a Color Classic Analog board

Do you have any more updates on this @jcm-1 ? I'm thinking my problems with my CCII might be board edge connector related. Here's my recent thread about it: https://tinkerdifferent.com/threads/mu0ns-color-classic-thread.1252/post-9567
