Yeah, forgot about that, but was aiming the passthru terminator block at general audience in answer to the termination issue @Oelmuvun mentioned. You mentioned doing it, have you double checked that the keying on the crimped connector is properly aligned?

Most, if not all Mac CD drives are assigned as SCSI ID 3, but that's on the drive jumpers. ISTR, SCSI ID 0 is assigned to the boot drive. The 6400/6500 harnesses have an extension of the SCSI portion of that CD Adapter socket setup with connector and cable end termination for the optional ZIP...

MDD'03 has been booting up fine every day, stiction seems at bay for now.🤞 2.5" IDE/160 made it to Memphis Friday at 3:41PM and supposedly arrives tomorrow as scheduled. Not holding my breath, given the weather between here and there since then. A fresh install of OS9Lives and transfer of data...
