Yes, you can do that. But, better still, run Tiny Transfer on the vintage Mac and run Tiny Transfer in Basilisk II on the modern Mac.

Welp, there's the problem. They are using 256000 baud because there doesn't seem to be a predefined CBR value for 230400 baud. I can't locate an answer online for generating the correct baud rate. And another problem that I noticed, 14400 is missing. This is an easy fix.

Check the continuity on all of the serial cable pins. The MacGUI article indicates the drive clocks the serial port externally. Use a serial breakout board to verify communication. MacGUI said they had to leave the drive on for an hour for it to warm up and be recognized. Try disconnecting...
