I figured I could afford the $20 something bucks every couple years for a cheap ebay aftermarket battery for my a1181. I’ve had mine for the past year and it’s plugging along.
Something like This? I was thinking similar and running that to an internal port on a pci usb2 card. Unsure if that adapter would work under os9 or OSX but I use a number of external floppies under osx without issue.
That looks great. Great job.
I saw a video from about 11yrs ago on YT Here where op said the QS they got for free had a floppy but the inside shots were not great and looks like oem ide to me. My gut is the guy was not familiar with g4 powermacs and assumed it was a floppy vs a zip. The bezel...
I’m in the formative stages of puting together some Mando armor for my 5y/o from sandwiched cardboard who is very much into The Mandalorian. He and his older brother actually but one set at a time lol.
Here are my two little Mandos (Din Jarin & Boba Fett) with their 2023 Halloween costumes lol...
I’m in the opposite space. My pbg4 12s have all slowly died over the past year. The 1.2ghz was a faulty gpu that when I opened it up, the heat sink had broken from its mounts. Despite cleaning, repairing the mounts and a re-paste/thermal tape the damage was done and died early 2024. The 867...

I have experienced this and assume it is an issue between single mode and dual mode/classic BT devices. Here's an easy read on the topic and helps to understand the differences and why a new B T device might not connect to an older or vice versa...
Very nice job. When my wife and I bought our current abode, it came with this massive 15 foot picnic table that was covered with this thick dark syrupy brown sealant stuff. I sanded it down and it soaked up an entire large can of exterior wood seal/stain. The old gunk that was on it was really...
Eos is built on Ubuntu. I am newer to Eos but like it due to its similarity to macos. I have used Ubuntu on some other C2D 08 & 09 macbooks I have with great success and DD it on an A1078 09 MBP. Interestingly, Eos was not as easy an install requiring some command line work as Ubuntu which was...
