    Found my Oscilloscope?

You know, I used to scoff at people that put Apple stickers on their stuff, as if it was cringe to do so. Now, I understand. This thing fits right in with a 128k, and feels incomplete without an Apple sticker.

    Surprise Project c/o Water!

Got home to find my beloved A1104 in a puddle of water with the fan cycling on and off. The last time something like this happened was my iPhone 4 being drenched in a storm. I was able to revive it and use it for as long as I wanted afterwards... years! I'm hoping a similar approach will work...

    Bench Power Supply Q

Oh nice! Thanks for the tip. I don't know that I need high wattage. That particular supply was an example of something I thought would cover all my bases. I wanna be able to test up to 24v, because that's about the highest DC I've seen inside consumer electronics (except CRTs and amps).

And it has a digital twin. Question is... which manufacturer is badge engineering? https://www.ebay.com/itm/296036606519

    Bench Power Supply Q

Don't matter now. The seller ended the listing. This one looks so nice. Reminds me of my Vestax MW-3000. But yet another seller padding the shipping cost. https://www.ebay.com/itm/305260898388

    Bench Power Supply Q

Have my eye on one capable of 0-30v, which I know is fine. But max 3 amp... that sounds a bit on the low side. It's a Protek 303. Recently-ish calibrated in 2022. Thoughts?

    Found my Oscilloscope?

I’m looking at this model. https://datasheets.globalspec.com/ds/teledyne-technologies/9304am/f6711327-f1aa-4b24-83dc-2ae7e1ca1f83 Four channels, I like the form factor. The only thing I’m uncertain on is if the frequency, sample rate and record depth are in the right range for what I want to...

Accelerator Cards and Original Device CPUs

Hi Anden. I'm asking about socketed types. Thanks!

Accelerator Cards and Original Device CPUs

If I wanted to slim down a group of boards, and the highest point is a socketed accelerator, could I delete the OG CPU on the board? I'm wondering if, once the accelerator is connected, the original CPU is totally ignored by the system. Orrrr.... maybe OG CPU is needed for very early boot...

    Mac84 or BigBadBio

Oi! Either of you up in this shizzy? I got a computer I think either of you would love to stream working on. It's a rusted shut Mac Plus. When lifted it sounds like a pair of maracas. There is bound to be adventure inside, and approx 3 hours of streaming content. It's free. My only thing is if...

    casino time

Oh yeah. I remember I posted this dipnut's listing before. ****in' Polkadot cousin, all the way. Anti-communitarian, non-collector! Grrrrr... I hope he develops a condition where his eyelashes are always falling out, so 70% of his days are spent being tortured by lash-in-eye.

    Stealth Mac Plus!!!

I was just looking for a 128k/512k bezel to get a stealth Mac Plus, tbh. Then I saw cat was selling one that powers on and seeks a floppy, so I grabbed it. $150 total with shipping and tax. May it contain a surprise accelerator within! The mouse-holster tells me the owner may just have been...
