    Apple II clone cards gerbers?

I meant that creators can upload gerbers to PCBWay for others, not just customers. For example when I make prodos ROM drives I can have a percentage go to the designer. https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/ProDOS_ROM_Drive_v4_4fe0794f.html

    Apple II clone cards gerbers?

    PCBWay supports this, no?

Sony Trinitron - one of the GREATEST TV and monitor technologies in history 📺

I have a handful of trinitrons. Fantastic sets for the aperture grille of course. PVM 20M4U, one working, one complete but troublesome Massive consumer vega set (like 40 inches? Haven't worked on it yet, needs some geometry work) Dell badged 20" Trinitron VGA monitor; this thing is amazing. I...

Where to find Apple IIgs software

It's great, whenever I stick a MicroDrive Turbo in an Apple II I use ciderpress to image that disk image to the CF card as one of the virtual slot/drives. It detects if you have a joystick for example and hides games that can only be played with them if you do not.

Dedicated tinkering space (soldering and other)

Awesome stuff seeing the music setup on the compact Mac.

Dedicated tinkering space (soldering and other)

I've been thinking of putting a soldering workstation in my basement permanently. I have a spot I could use; I would want to put in a fume extractor which could be done in the spot I'm thinking about. I would also have to redo lighting and likely have some electrical run or re-run. My main...

Mac SE Restoration Project -- advice wanted!

True, and ones ability to use proper flux and know when to just back out and let the board cool off. I use a low wattage (like, 25 watts) with fine tip if I do that, and generally, don't put too much more heat into the PCB than I would have with air. Quickly bouncing between the points so the...

Mac SE Restoration Project -- advice wanted!

A few years back when I googled there were some stragglers, but now I can't find anything either.

Mac SE Restoration Project -- advice wanted!

I was lucky to get a stash of smaller tips for mine, they weren't made for it, they were for an ancient "paladin solder scooter" but fit perfectly. IIRC I have 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0mm tips. I actually used it for the 2 axial on this SE/30 but with a smaller tip than it comes with.

Mac SE Restoration Project -- advice wanted!

For SMD removal, IMO there is really only one sane method (barring skill with hot air but I don't want to remove electrolytic caps with that) Twisting is out for me, I know some people do it, but not I. If you try to lift while heating smd pads you're all but sure to lift one once in a while...

    Lessons learned the Hard Way

Probably the hardest thing for me to learn was when to admit I wasn't finishing the project that day lol. Or if I am getting too out of hand working around a piece I don't have or something, instead of putting the project away for the night I used to hack together whatever I could. Now I'm a...

    Apple ii EEPROM Programer Card?

I saw the card but couldn't bring myself to buy it. The DIP EPROMs it supports are definitely useful for this era of stuff, but I personally would be reluctant to use a setup as old as an Apple II to burn ROMs anymore. You need a good steady voltage and as I'm sure you know it can take 10-20...

Game Socket in Apple II series

No worries, the offer is on the table if it would help your development. It's not going anywhere at the moment. Some of these general MIDI modules have serial ports in addition to the MIDI ports. On a classic mac you can hook the modem or printer port right to a module like the SC-88 with an...

Game Socket in Apple II series

Heh, my edit basically said the same. I have no equipment yet to use with the paddle slot on my II+, but that's OK, I have to finish fixing the RAM card 1st (microsoft language card has a bad 4116 RAM and a bad 74LC* chip, easy fix hopefully).

Game Socket in Apple II series

I wish! Rom 01 of course. Edit: It would be nice not to disable the mouse to use the Mockingboard but it's my primary minor inconvenience on that system.
