Can they provide a small sample spool first (250g?) so we can do a couple test prints for matching? Do they certify that their Pantone match is to the final printed item?

We have a Pantone and RAL nearly exact match. So if we stick with one of those standards, we'll be okay.

That's nifty! If they can do RGB color codes, my color matching (over five items, each item sampled five times then averaged) indicates that the closest match is #BFBCB1.

I placed an order for 1 750g spool. I'll take the hit on the first one to see if the color is close enough. The upside, is the company I found isn't like the first one - you can just order whenever you like, minimum order 1 spool. WOOT.

Update again: it's the board edge connector. Machine started flaking again. I got angry, so I removed the a-board, reflowed EVERYTHING, and reinstalled. Now, the screen doesn't flicker, but it's blue. If I "jiggle" the a-board, the screen flickers, gets color back, etc. Now, I get to...

Actually, it's 400 C. 421 is a cool grey with a lower gamma. 400 C is warm and so nearly right, it's magic.

Well, the cost is probably the same as the Platinum filament. I'll know once I hear back from the vendor. They sure are taking their time. Might have to @ them on Twitter or something.
