A bit late seeing this... but here are the 'base' settings... I've also attached the full manual. If you're trying those settings, it may be a problem with the cache. You might try disabling it in the MAChSpeed control panel - but then you need to fully boot to do so. I "think" the cache...

Didn't Adrian (of "basement" fame) use a RGB2HDMI and double the pixels? 512 x 2 = 1024 and 384 x 2 = 768... 1024 x 768... sounds familiar?

Just a thought... should this be the "iPlus"? 😉 Don't the "Sony" 2M (1.44Mb) drives work with 400k disks? Isn't the issue IWM vs SWIM? Don't the "2M" Sony's behave as 800k when attached to an IWM-only logic 'board? AFAIK, the only difference between 400k / 800k is single vs. double-sided...

Those are "transport" protectors - common with the older (Plus, etc.) to protect the floppy head when being shipped. I believe they're reasonably rare and sought after. I'm sure I saw another thread about 3D modelling them fairly recently... 🤔

I'll be happy to try this out in my IIgs... I'm using my FloppyEMU as a SmartPort HD, so it might be interesting to see how they co-exist?
