As shown in my BOM on page 4, U11D is the VIA chip (p/n: W65C22N6TPG-14 and wickedly expensive!), and U4D is p/n: SN75150P. Both are shown in my Mouser Cart -- a link to which is in my BOM on page 5. That chip info is 100% accurate regardless of SE Reloaded board silkscreen markings.

That's probably the only reason it flows better than the 60/40, but the flux residue doesn't look too bad in your photos. Could be that it spits so much because it has less Rosin in it, in which case it will be easier for the IPA to clean off later, when you finally clean the board. My MG...

Mouser troubles me greatly. I spent a lot of time updating carts. And sometimes I’ll update a cart only to find one of the capacitors I updated then goes out of stock the next day, even though they were hundreds in stock at the time I replaced it! It’s crazy.

@Kai Robinson what is your experience with Phoenix Engineering? It seems clear I need to update my BOM with another source, but I’m not sure what link I should use. You are probably going to run out of those sockets pretty quickly.
