Old Net WiFi modem and ZTerm - not responding

Weird. You could try "AT&F" to restore factory settings although it sounds like the command may not get to your modem. You may need to reinstall the firmware using this tool. I prefer using the WiModem232 Pro, which also has the full AT command set capable of hosting BBS's on Macs and Apple...

    Fix-a-Fork

Works great! As mentioned above, it would be nice to have .image files (there are a bunch on Macintosh Garden) in Disk Copy format.

Check this link out - I wasn't able to get ZModem working but did get YModem working at 57,600 baud with White Knight Host Mode.

    BlueSCSI v2 - DaynaPORT WiFi!

With the BlueSCSI wifi beta, my LC III now has wireless access to AppleTalk file servers and printers, even when in IIe mode (thanks to Petar Puskarich's version of A2SERVER). Great job guys!!

    Mac Classic screen shake

I had the same issue with my Classic - recapped the logic / analog board and reflowed a bunch of solder joints without any improvement. I finally turned up the voltage adjuster on the analog board a tiny bit and all was good after that.

How to print to any printer from Classic Mac OS using macOS / X.

Very cool! A few other ways to print from your vintage Macs to modern printers: Via LPR: http://bylenga.ddns.net/index.php?page=68KPrinting.php Netatalk papd print server: https://github.com/rdmark/netatalk-2.x

Yes, I'm able to d/l files via ZModem at 57.6 with hardware handshake enabled without any issues. It sounds like the best way to get things onto your SE with your current setup is to Unstuff files in BasiliskII and then transfer them over via blank disk images on your Floppy Emu. You could...

BasiliskII works fine on my on my M2 MBP so I'd try a fresh installation. Progress! Try this if you haven't already: Go under Settings -> Terminal and select zt-ibm font and make sure PC ANSI-BBS is checked.

Another option would be to set up the BasiliskII emulator on your Mac Mini (or modern Mac), install Stuffit Expander v5.5 on there, unstuff ZTerm, then copy ZTerm to a blank 800k disk image (which you can download online), then copy that disk image to your FloppyEmu. EDIT: I just did it for ya...

Thanks for the link. I fired up QL II and quickly realized that I haven't updated the ASCII portion of the BBS in way too long! I couldn't get downloads to work at all with my wimodem232. So I fired up ZTerm and could only get ZModem protocol to work for downloads...

Try "AT?" and see if there's any way to turn raw mode on and telnet mode off. You could also send me QLII (transfer it to your Mac mini and zip up the files) and I could see if it works with my wimodem232. Unfortunately I can't find QLII on the net. Most of the .sit files on Macintosh Garden...

I've never used Kermit and it doesn't look like a very advanced terminal program so you probably can't even d/l via YMODEM... I've never used QLII either, and I can't find it anywhere on the internet to try it out. Try downloading using the other protocols like XMODEM. Some wifi modems also...

You'd be better off with a gurumodem, which allows you to FTP from the modem to your modern computer, save files to its SD card, then download via XMODEM or ZMODEM to your SE with your terminal program. I used this setup for quite a while before I set up a netatalk file server. You could also...

    Color Mac SE Project!

I had an empty Mac SE case sitting around doing nothing and recently ran across Jesse Argenbright's conversion of an SE with a Mac mini on FaceBook. I thought I could do something very similar - I already had a Raspberry Pi 3, Wombat ADB to USB converter, a USB hub, and a 3D printer so I was a...
