I hate this forum… now I have an urgent need to unnecessarily upgrade my SE/30!!!

Corrupted HDD Image With Bad SCSI Cable

What happens if you try to access the disk image from Basillisk? Maybe you could then use some disk repair tool. (I'm mostly guessing)

    Where can I buy 128MB SE/30 RAM?

I wonder how long it takes the SE/30 to check 128MB on boot without the ROMinator II to disable that

    Is still Hotline a thing?

Cool! Thanks for testing! I don't know how to set upload permissions to an specific folder, but I'd be glad to create a user for you, so you can enter with an authenticated account and then you can upload stuff. Just tell me the nickname you want and I'll send you the password here by private...

    Is still Hotline a thing?

So I got a bit hooked with this and I created a server using Mobius in a Linux VM in AWS The server is hotline.retrobyt.es and is in the hltracker.com list For now it's just freshly deployed and I'm checking how it works, but if you want to test it and report, it would be appreciated!

What Beige Apple ADB keyboards/mice am I missing?

You’d be missing the wrist rest thingies for the adjustable keyboard, but as these are pretty hideous, I won’t blame you. Ah… not black, but I’d like to have myself the gray mouse for the PowerBook 1xx

    RASCSI Internal holder?

Technically speaking yes... You could use GPIO9 to control a relay with a python script and turn on/off the power line of the Mac, but frankly speaking I don't know if this is useful, as you can simply let the Mac waiting (blinking disk with question mark) until the RASCSI service is enabled.

    RASCSI Internal holder?

Hey. Apparently the RASCSI only leaves GPIO9 as an useable input to connect a button (it has two more in the board, but it seems that aren't really available). You need to connect the button to that pin and to ground. Then you need to edit config.txt (in /boot) and add this line...

    My PB170

What about the PRAM battery and main battery? Adding the BlueSCSI is a great improvement. Having it running silent is neat. I made myself these: I just miss the network capabilities of the RASCSI.

    My PB170

In the photo the tunnel vision is not evident, so it seems you were lucky. No need to recap the screen? I guess you're using some RAM software doubler, right?

    Is still Hotline a thing?

I’m playing with this these days and it’s quite interesting. it would be cool if we agree in a “Hotline day”, so people gets connected to one of these servers and we can make this alive again for a moment.

    Is still Hotline a thing?

I must say I didn't use this at the time, and I discovered Hotline just recently. I installed the client and connected to some servers... no other users online. I al tried to setup a Linux server, but so far the two I found I wasn't able to compile (seem to be a quite old code). Is there any...

    I pimped my RASCSI

The one-button thing is because it seems that only one GPIO port is available, not because I'd prefer it. The management with the web interface is quite nice, and the normal thing to do, but that's creating dependencies with other devices, while an autonomous thing (like the floppy-emu) seems...

    I pimped my RASCSI

That would be a great thing! For the buttons or rotary interface the main issue is the limited GPIO pins… the RASCSI has three but checking about it and asking to @landogriffin , apparently only one is really available, so this would only allow a one-button interface, which could be enough with...

    Macintosh Plus 2MB Bluescsi troubles

I have it with 1MB (don't want to upgrade it) and 6.0.8 is what I use. You can try my image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/04vzm1mdtp9me2d/HD10_512%20Boot-6.0.8.hda.zip?dl=0

    Color Classic CRT geometry adjustment

For me it's terrifying every time I see Adrian (Digital Basement) doing that with the bare hands, but apparently it's just 12V there.

MT-32 PI Project for the Mac

I made a second version of the MT32-PI, fitting it in a generic case. Like this is quite more useable.

    Advice on PB 145B repair

Finally I could complete this project. I changed the PRAM Battery and made an ugly, but functional refurbishment of the main battery. Now this PowerBook can be off grid again. I’m quite happy with how this ended up.

    1987 Macintosh Plus (Platinum)

Mine had the reboot issue due to low voltage and the culprit was the optocoupler.
