OK, here's what I think I need to do. Find out what that transistor is at R31 and replace it, then run a bodge wire at W6. That should provide power to the 2 terminal holes for the fan. One thing I find odd is that the wire at W6 isn't protected and it easily comes in contact with the PSU...
Thanks but this SE has a squirrel cage fan. The SE/30 I'm transferring to is an SE conversion to an SE/30 and also has a squirrel cage fan. If there's a new replacement for a squirrel cage that would be great.
I think it was mentioned that a regular blade fan may hit the CRT yoke, plus I think...
Oh, I'm definitely replacing both connectors! 😱
This may be a spare SE but it does work. I will have to figure out a replacement for the fan though as I'm salvaging that for my SE/30 refurb.
I'm a hobbyist woodworker so I always grab old furniture made from quality hardwoods. I've seen old walnut dressers and tables in the trash before where the wood alone is worth $100 or more. I take it apart and I've some nice expensive hardwood to make whatever I want.

I'm restoring my SE/30 that was an SE conversion and the fan is super noisy. I pulled a quiet fan out of an SE parts machine but I discovered that the noisy fan has wires and the other one has 2 terminals sticking out the back. It looks like the analog board has a place to solder in a fan with...
That's good info Patrick. I didn't realise it worked that way, then again I never researched it either. I have two v5.0x SCSI2SDs but I do prefer BlueSCSI which I also have 2 of. I'm using an internal SCSI2SD for my SE/30. Now that I have it working well I'm just gonna leave it but I'll probably...
Hi, Here's the gDrive link to the hda image that is causing the crash.

This is great, thank you!
I do have a comment and a question;
1. On the driver sidebar it says about replacing the diver "click the button below" but the button is on top.
2. When I click the button, Disk Jockey quits with the attached error. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks Eric, I just bought a BluSCSI with the wi-fi board from Joe's Museum that i'm gonna put in there to replace the whining spin drive before it dies. I read on the "other" board to check the connectors from the yoke as well. When it's fixed I'll post back what I think it was.
So I take it there's no real way to extract an image from a SCSI2SD card, edit mmit and put it back?
I couldn't even get a bootable MinivMac image to boot my SE/30. I downloaded the 2GB 6.0.8 image from SavageTaylor, I added software to the image with MinivMac, copied it to the card using balena...
I have a stock Color Classic that was recapped with tantalums years ago. It has worked great for over 5 years. When I booted up today, the screen was tinted purple. When opening windows and checking out settings, it went back to normal color but then eventully went to purple again. It seems to...
Just saw this. Tried it, doesn't work. I installed MacFuse, rebooted. Installed fusehfs 0.1.5, rebooted. All my disk images are locked.

I'm trying to adjust the alignment on my SE/30 monitor and having a hard time finding the 2.5mm nylon hex key that fits in the monitor adjustment pots on the analog board. Anyone know where they are available? I see the kits on Amazon but they don't appear to a have a hex key and that's really...
I love it. Are there any instructions or a forum? I've tried briefly to get system 7 connected for internet access but it's not obvious.
Thank you @mihai!
Thanks, I found them on Digi-key as well.
