There is no file that I can find. I am hunting for one. I found the one for 800K and that one works great. How long will last not sure. If can’t find a file, I might have to learn fusion 360 and make one.

Is there a file to print my own for the 2mb floppy? The Sony MP-F75W-12G. There seems to be a 1mm difference for the main gear diameter and the upper smaller gear. The shaft is also smaller at 1mm. I guess could scale this one down to fit? Sorry I am asking as i am new to 3D printing.

Today I spend the day checking traces again using the schematic and going chip by chip. I had a feeling it was scsi related to I started there on the scsi/scc/via chip going to the others. Now I am shocked. I made floppies for 7.0.1 and boot from that to install onto the HD. Well it also freezes on the welcome screen. This can be 1 of 3 things. Bad scsi stiuff. Bad hard drive. Bad rom.

What has worked. Boot recovery on blueSCSI. Formar hard drive. Copy the needed files from recovery to hard drive. The system folder and all the other needed items to boot. Any install I do does not work.

I did partían for the entire drive. I used to windows old days needing to do that first then formar and install. I use the entire drive for the OS.

Well now that I have the chime and happy face after a trace repair of pin 15 egret reset and pin 5 on U14 memory 5v missing. It will start the boot get to the welcome screen and lockup. Stays there. Anyone have any ideas what to check, try etc?

This issue is now resolved. Turned out not to be the ROM. EGRET chip pin 15 trace that is the RESET was broken in the battery area. Was very hard to find and was I was checking each chip and each pin traces for continuity, I found this. Repairing this gave me the chime but bad memory sound...

I am hearing some talk that a LC II rom could work in a classic II. Can anyone here confirm or comment on this?

Yes so true. I sure it has to do with PSU as other has said. I don’t have a Quadra unit yet to see. I have Mac II, LC I and II, Performa 6200CD, I have a Centris 610 on way so not sure what that has.
