    Advice on Mac SE/30 RAM

Hi, After recapping the board, I have a functional Mac SE/30 with Mac OS 7.5.3 + 5 MB RAM (probably 4 * 1MB + 4 * 256kB) + BlueSCSI v2. I'm looking at options to expand the RAM using Connectix Mode32. Does it work without a Rominator ? I read it would let me support up to 128MB. What's the...

    SE/30 sound issue

Should I clean the board after or before removing the capacitors? I read article on people putting it in demineralized water or vinegar + water before cleaning and drying it. Is it worth doing ?

    SE/30 sound issue

I'll start with these capacitors thanks. I ordered some flux paste. Never used it before but it seems convenient indeed to help with the soldering. Does it protect the board from the iron heat when soldering ?

    SE/30 sound issue

Thanks for the information. I was hoping to avoid recapping the board but it may be needed.. How difficult is it ? Reset hard drive with BlueSCSI

I decided to reformat the internal 40MB HD using Lido 7. After struggling looking for clone solutions, I found a simple solution by coping the system files from a mounted image using the BlueSCSI to the internal HD. Definitely not possible with Ms Windows, so I didn't think it would work.
