[High Score Challenge 01] Get the highest score for 1-3 of these games

Been at it since my post but haven’t been able to beat my 142. Will give another crack at it tomorrow. I’ve got a month after all!

[High Score Challenge 01] Get the highest score for 1-3 of these games

Not sure if this counts since I don’t have video footage, and did this a while ago, but here’s a picture of 142 on flappy Mac, achieved on my PowerBook 540. If I need to have achieved it since the challenge started, than I can attempt to beat it again. Also, I really like this idea!

    Tunnel vision on PB170

@Paralel, you’ve seen a bunch of these 540s. Any idea what’s causing the yellow splotches at the bottom of the display?

    Tunnel vision on PB170

Very nice! Didn't know you had a YouTube channel either! I'm going to actually try to record an hour-long time lapse of my 540's display and upload it to my second channel. Just don't know if my AC Adapter will keep it running that whole time... My blackbird charger has been flaking out lately.

    Tunnel vision on PB170

I've got to bake my 540 soon. I'm waiting until I've got a 3d-printed part to fix the hinge before I do that though, I've got to get on that soon.

    AI writing code?!

Had to share this here... https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/ai-machine-learning-with-chat-interface-revolutionizing-programming-learning-to-code.42828/#post-466571 o_O This is insane! I've known about openAI's chat for a while now, but had no idea it was getting this darn good!

    The 17" WUXGA PowerBook G4

Still haven't modded my 17", both price on the LCD panel and a fear of damaging my mint display assembly in the process... What I'm wondering though is what the 12 inch G4s used. They look like nice machines, but having the same screen resolution as a 12" iBook G4 makes them little better than...

Looking for flex cables to recreate

Sorry for taking so long on this, slipped my mind. Here is the rather complex PowerBook 5300ce LCD ribbon. and then this last photo would be why mine is no good :( and here is the LCD itself.

Here's a video of my new best time, 5:58. Can anyone beat me?

    PG G5 15" DC board issue - L1202 blown

It appears to be a ceramic capacitor, someone else with a working one could probably take theirs apart and measure the capacitance with a multimeter.

    DOScember 2022 - Who's doing it?

Yeah, I still haven’t beaten the two islands map… I’m going to have to give in and use the missiles I think, getting to the bases with a frigate is too difficult.

    DOScember 2022 - Who's doing it?

No issue I’m taking time to learn the ropes, I had already watched some gameplay videos before I began so I sort of knew what to do already. I think my first attempt on river divide took me 20-30 minutes, although I don’t remember. I’ve played that level dozens of times since then. I’ll...

    DOScember 2022 - Who's doing it?

That's one hour, not one minute, right? My record is somewhere in the 6 minute region I think, I'll have to check, my document I use to track my scores is on my ThinkPad 385XD haha. The jungle map took me the longest on my first go, 50 minutes thereabouts I think. I still haven't beaten all of...

    DOScember 2022 - Who's doing it?

Perhaps I’ll try to beat my best time on Planet-X3’s first level. I don’t remember off the top of my head what it is right now, but I’ll bet I can take it lower. One note if anyone wants to try to beat me when I do post the time later, I don’t allow myself to use remote missiles because it takes...

    Macbook Pro/Air - no power

Check out Louis Rossmann's stuff on YouTube. He's probably repaired dozens of them with the same problem yours has.
