Agree. His basement is beautifully designed. His wife let him turn their dining room into an Applestore styled display space as well. He did a nice series of vids on the tables he built for it etc. looks really good. I haven’t seen a video from him recently which is a bummer as his channel was...
I think it depends on the story you want to tell. I think for most novices, chronological groupings makes sense but for others the conversation could be centered around cpu and the transitions between 68k, ppc, Intel etc. Conversely it could be a conversation around the evolution of design...
I have had quite a few crts that would make a sound/whine at start up and then stop after a few seconds. I assumed it was the flyback but that is a sweeping generalization I know without actually opening it up and testing it.
I am unsure who on the board is point for the forum/website but if you know, loop them in and see if it can be worked in or discussed at the next meeting. I mean cars still have reverse. Who can deny this logic. :geek:

First thing that I noticed was the invalid node error - when I see node kind/structure type errors, that often points to the hard drive where there is an issue with its ability to catalog & retrieve files. You could try repairing the install in disk utility or maybe disk warrior if you have it...
I worked on my possessed B&W with good results this evening. Swapped gpus, some drives + general maintenance with no crashing or KPs so looks like stability has returned.
I’ll work on the 7000pci tomorrow and get that back in.
Very nice. I think I will do the same thing on my sons 17" intel imac. I was unable to get Matt's isos to boot on my cmp 1,1 but if I can do it on the imac, pperhaps that will help me with that ultimate goal of getting elementary on my 1,1.
IIRC my sons imac is running Lion which I have Arctic...
The long and the short of it is that I screwed something up on my quicksilver & MDD that broke TenFiveTube, my favorite YT player for powerpc osx macs. YT is a real porker and sluggish in browser or a box. We have awesome apps like PPCMC but that still leaves having to source the vid url. To...
