I got my JLC-printed, carbon-fiber reinforced 60mm SE & SE/30 Analog Board FAN MOUNT installed, and here's how it looks:
I think @alxlab intended for this mount to not require use of nuts on the bolts (machine screws), but if you insert and remove screws a few times, I think that might wear down the hole, so I decided to add nuts just to be safe. I can later add some hot glue to ensure that vibration over time won't cause the nuts to loosen. Hot glue is a more easily removable choice to secure the bolts than super glue, which is more permanent.
Adding the nuts near the protruding fan mount was kind of hard because you can't screw on the nuts due to the close proximity of the bolt hole. You have to hold the nut in place (perfectly flat) and then screw in the bolt, which is a bit tricky but not impossible.
I used my own M3 diameter machine screws and some I cut down the length on some. Having your own bolts is important because when you use this fan mount, you probably either don't have access to the stock one, or you want to repurpose it, which means you don't have the mounting bolts for that.
One huge benefit of this carbon fiber mount versus the metal stock mount is vibration damping. I was getting some major vibrations that were extremely audible and annoying with the back housing removed and when using the stock metal fan mount on this dummy analog board that comes with the LCD Retrofit Kit by @zigzagjoe. But after swapping out the metal mount for this carbon fiber version, all audible vibration sounds ceased entirely. It was pretty shocking, and in a good way. Of course, when the housing is on, it doesn't matter. But I often have the case-back off to work on the machine. The Carbon Fiber Mount is awesome. Could be that PLA and other filaments are too because they are plastic and not metal, and therefore will transfer vibrations less than the metal.
My PSU in this Mac is the SEASONIC I installed many years ago and it has a fan inside that kicks on after a while. So I think the combination of the two fans was causing audible vibrations with the metal fan mount. That isn't something that will impact most people who have the stock PSU (which has no fan). Even so, the benefits are what they are, and I am quite pleased.
Another benefit is there are no gaps around the fan. The mount is nicely form=fitting, unlike the stock metal mount. Also, you can only mount the fan with 2 bolts when using the metal mount, but with this 3D printed version, you can use up to 4. I choose to use 3 bolts to mount the fan, and of course I used 4 to keep the mount affixed to the analog board.
Kudos to @alxlab for this nice STL file, and kudos to JLC for doing a nice printing job on it!

I have a few BlueSCSI devices but this is my first 2.0, so looking forward to WiFi. I still can’t believe we have such smart people to make the classic OS app to transfer files from the SD card, and WiFi. . . The wonders never cease!
