After watching a popular youtuber's recent Patreon-only video, I was inspired to retry my Logic LUB-SC adapter which I purchased from Sendico on my birthday in 2021.

I am pretty sure the drive I was testing it on was ID 0. My M1 Mac Mini recognized the USB device appropriately but didn't detect the SCSI drive.

Has anyone else played with a USB to SCSI adapter?

Back in the late 90s, after buying an iMac DV, I picked up an Entrega-branded USB-to-SCSI adapter so I could keep using my Zip drive and scanner. To say that the adapter was flaky was an understatement. I could never determine whether it was hardware or driver related (honestly, probably both, as rebooting often got it working for a little while), but I do wonder if there's an important software component required to make those work. A modern Mac may be able to enumerate the USB adapter, but may still require drivers to handle data communication. Maybe try it on a classic Mac, with the drivers, and see if you have better results?
