This past weekend I had a chance to take some toys to the Lebanon public library for our monthly Indiana Vintage Computer Meet.

Arrived a little later than I had wanted to but still had a solid two hours before people started heading out. It runs from 9am to 2pm once a month, every second Saturday to be exact.

If you’re near the event, I encourage you to bring some of your favorite machines and share them with everyone else.

Taken with a QuickTake 200:

Another successful event at the Indy Vintage Computer Club meetup today at the Lebanon public library!
There were a number of different machines present for the looking!

I brought out the Kanga and Newtons (130/2000(2100) and the QuickTake 200 again, as expected.
Somehow, a dozen fresh Long's Bakery Donuts also disappeared while we were there!

The Fauxlaroid Booth was "kind of" setup but next time, I should have it ready for full action for anyone wanting
a nice B&W shot of them and/or of their systems.

Thanks! Sometimes but not with these. They’re straight from the camera with no photoshop or touching up. There’s a lot of light in the library so that helps.

Cool!(y) How many pictures can the camera hold? Is it needed to use Apple's proprietary memory card? Can a third-party card like CF be used? Will QuickTake 200 work under System 7.1 and up? Serial connection to hook up to the computer?

44 on high quality setting pictures and requires a hard to come by 4MB smart media card. You can’t use the larger ones unfortunately. Not sure if it’ll connect with OS7.1 I use 8.6 but either way, transfer all the photos with a smart media PCMCIA card on a PowerBook so it’s fast and easy.
